5. Chef Movie Plot

Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) is a chef of a Los Angeles star restaurant. Because he couldn't stand the strong control of his boss Riva (Dustin Hoffman), Carl angrily quit his job. He decided to take a big off; by the way he also would like to find the direction of the future. Carl came to Miami. He and his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara), son and friend, Martin (John Leguizamo) opened a humble mobile diner together. Then the dining car was on the road, Carl tried to repair relationship with his wife and son in such a journey, and at the same time, he wanted to find his love for cooking and life.

The chef film is full of a kind of relaxed atmosphere and just like the warm sunshine. Even though Carl's career hits rock bottom, (an unemployed, divorced middle-aged chef has some trouble with a famous cook food blogger, and then become the leading character of the funny video online) the audience know "everything will be all right" in their mind. So, even if a lot of plots in this movie do not happen in the real world, we are not going to pursue it because of the taste of happiness.

There is no ups and downs plots and unexpected ending in the film, the guest stars' performances make the movie better as well. We couldn't specifically say which plot is most fascinating, but to recall the movie literally, there are some funny clips in our mind. The final emotional scene is not exaggerated, too. The feeling of watching this movie is comfortable. Even though it is a bit cliche, so what, life is born to be in the numerous repeat.

We don't need to use the perspective of literary to evaluate this film, because it's just a family movie. Like the movie lines inside said, "Don't be artsy, it's just family meal." When we are faced with a variety of food programs one after another, our attention will return to the funny plots in the film, food is still out in the second attention, become beautiful foil, that's all.
